Laser Etching
This is the practice of using a laser beam to engrave on the targeted plastic surfaces. The process can be very technical and complex but very precise with engravings. Laser etching is widely used in telecommunications products such as handphone keypads, automotive power switch buttons, central console panels and audio products.
Laser marking technology creates lasting marks. With great precision, the laser can engrave, etch, anneal, or discolour surfaces. These marks are permanent, and you can easily read or scan them on any surface. As a result, this marking process is ideal for operations where permanency and accuracy are critical.
